The Cox Mobile Water Heating System is a self-contained, truck-mounted heating method capable of raising the temperature of a standard, 18,500 gallon* pool 11 degrees per hour. Simple access to your pool is all that is required.
How does the Cox Mobile Water Heating System work?
Two, flexible in and out-flow hoses are inserted into the water. The intake hose is connected to a one-half horsepower, self-priming centrifugal purge pump designed to evacuate air completely from the system. A 3-horsepower primary pump, with the ability of moving 8,000 gallons of water per hour, pulls the water out of the pool to the heating elements. After the water passes through the suction hose, it circulates through the efficient, 2.1-million-BTU, input heating unit which then returns the heated water back to the pool via the return hose. Built-in exhaust fans keep the heating units in the truck cool; all heating equipment meets industry and ASHRA** standards of safety.
